However, after turning on fast boot, the PC still doesn't start up. I turned on "fast boot" which bypasses booting from USB entirely, in the hopes that this would make the motherboard ignore the headset. However, the boot order seems correct - it boots from my SSD first of all. ![]() I tried unplugging the headset and going into UEFI setup, which works fine. The LED in the motherboard shows A2, which means it gets stuck in "IDE detect" I am not able to access the UEFI setup or boot menu at all so long as the headset is plugged in. I expect the problem is that the motherboard is trying to boot from the USB device, however the load screen doesn't accept any input. ![]() It gets stuck on the ASRock start screen (press f2 or del to open UEFI setup etc). ![]() After plugging in the headset in the USB port, my computer will no longer boot. I recently bought a Steelseries Siberia Elite Prism headset, which comes with a USB sound card.
